designed by ar-ge, francis hall is a key space in the 100th anniversary project of the consecration of the seoul anglican cathedral, serving as a backdrop not only for church events but also for social service and artistic activities. at the reopening event of the newly renovated francis hall, bishop janghwan kim led the blessing ceremony, followed by live musical performances.

ar-ge 건축사사무소의 박영준 박사와 이세진 소장은 계속해서 지방 소도시, 농어촌 지역의 쇠퇴에 대비하기 위한 활성화 전략에 관심을 갖고 있으며, 사람들의 의견을 바탕으로 건축이 이루어져야 한다는 철학을 갖고 있습니다. 이를 위해 인구통계에 근거하여 전국 모든 지역의 1백만명의 가상 주민 데이터베이스를 갖추고, 이들을 활용해 LLM 멀티에이전트 방식의 "가상 주민 공청회" 시뮬레이션 도구를 만들었습니다. 지난 4월 한국도시설계학회에서 발표, 올 8월호 도시설계 저널에 게재되는 등 꾸준한 학계 검증을 통해 신뢰도와 활용성을 높이고 있습니다.

dr. youngjun park and director sejin lee of ar-ge architects continue to focus on revitalization strategies to address the decline of small regional towns, rural areas, and fishing villages. they share a philosophy that architecture should be grounded in the opinions of local residents. to support this vision, they built a database of 1 million virtual residents across all regions in south korea based on demographic data, using it to create a "virtual resident public hearing" simulation tool powered by an llm multi-agent approach. their work was presented at the urban design institute of korea last april and published in the august issue of the journal of the urban design institute of korea, continually building credibility and practical utility through academic validation.

베를린에서의 da:zwischsen 전시의 일환으로, 장승엽, 박영준, 이세진은 artists talk 세미나를 개최하여 전시 작품을 소개하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 세미나는 독일(갤러리 현장)과 한국(온라인)에서 동시에 진행되었습니다.

as part of the da:zwischen exhibition in berlin, sungyub chang, youngjun park, and sejin lee hosted an artist talk seminar to introduce their featured artwork. the seminar took place simultaneously in germany (on-site at the gallery) and korea (online).

이세진은 지난 2024년부터 2년 간 서울시의 공공건축가로 활동해왔으며, 7월 19일 임기가 종료되었습니다. 앞으로도 국내 공공건축의 발전과 가치 제고를 위해 계속해서 고민하고 기여하겠습니다.

sejin lee served as a public architect for the seoul metropolitan government for two years starting in 2024, completing the term on july 19th. moving forward, sejin lee will continue to contribute to and show deep interest in regional public architecture across korea.

성공회 서울주교좌성당의 100주년 기념식이 열려, 김장환 주교님 및 내빈들과 함께 ar-ge가 리모델링한 공간과 십자고상을 축복하는 예식을 가졌습니다. 본 기념식을 맞아 대성전 로비, 십자고상, 100주년 기념홀 등이 준공되었습니다.

at the 100th anniversary ceremony of the seoul anglican cathedral, a blessing service was held with bishop jang-hwan kim and distinguished guests for the crucifix and the space remodeled by ar-ge. in honor of this centenary event, the cathedral lobby, the crucifix, and the 100th anniversary hall were completed.
